Anurag’s Saif option

However, all that is set to change for the director. Saif Ali Khan has asked him to write a script for his production house. It came as a pleasant surprise for Kashyap, who is known for taking on producers, censors and courts mostly through his films and his blogs.Sources close to Kashyap reveals, “Post-No Smoking, Anurag has become a recluse.
However, he met Saif a few weeks ago, and both are trying to explore possibilities of coming together for a film. Anurag and Saif have common friends, and that’s how they met. Saif wants him to come up with a few ideas and eventually, they will zero in on one script.”
The story goes that Khan is impressed by Kashyap’s style. He walked out of the theatre pretty impressed with his mix of dream, reality and fantasy in No Smoking. Later, Khan called for a meeting with his business partner Dinesh Vijan and discussed his idea of roping in Kashyap. The duo later met and Kashyap has agreed to work on a few scripts before meeting them again.
